December is halfway through with it's cold weather, short days and a winter sun. I took this photo recently at Culzean when the sun was low and like a soft white orb in a beautiful dark sky. It became the inspiration for this painting.

    Beautiful painting, Bridget. There is no winter sun in this part of the world today, just dark grey clouds dropping snowy rain.
